Spring CelebrationThe Spring Celebration will be the opening event each year. Commencement of the gates opening for visitors welcome to enter and experience the living history at Davidson's Fort in Old Fort, NC during the 1700's.
May 22, 2010 Spring Muster
On May 22nd 10am to 5pm, Davidson’s Fort. a replica colonial fort of the American Revolution will present historical interpreters and re-enactors at their spring muster.
Directions
From the Old Fort Dept follow Hwy 70 (Main St) east to Lackey Town Road on your right. Turn right go over the railroad tracks travel 300 feet to the Gate on your left with Davidson's Fort signs. From the Mountain Gateway museum travel east on Water St, turn left at stop sign, make your next right (just before tracks) follow Railroad st about 1/2 mile to gate next to Janesville Products.
